          Magzhan Zhumabayev is an outstanding poet of his time. From an early age, he had a markedly strong predilection for literature. At the age of 14 he began to test his pen, and his first collection of poems "Sholpan" was published. Disclosing the identity of Magzhan as a patriot of his homeland, it would be a blunder not to mention history. Like every poet, Magzhan, described in his works about the time in which he lived. At that time, he experienced a civil war, Soviet power, repression and persecution, as a whole, black times for the Kazakh people. As one of the members of the Kazakh intelligentsia, he was perfectly aware of the situation in which his people are located. In those days, administer an illiterate mass of the population for the Soviet power was on hand. Therefore, in his works Magzhan special attention is paid to the description of the level of education and called upon the people to read and write.

Speaking of Magzhan as the son of the people, it is worth mentioning exactly what contribution he made for his people, which, incidentally, a lot. He suffered a difficult fate, but his thorny path was not in vain. Speaking only about its fruits in literature, this is already a long story. In each of which is stored a whole chain of stories, descriptions and a kind of profound meaning, takes quite a long time. His thoughts, suffering, flaming fire inside him, but also a reverent attitude to his homeland and loved ones were passed on to the reader with the help of ink and paper. Despite the fact that Mukhtar Auezov said that in the first place he loves Abay, in second place he still singled out Magzhan. Highlighted the brilliance of his poetic thought, the uniqueness of his worldview and receptivity, which can not be disagreed. However, his poems and poems are not the only legacy left for his people. He also made a great contribution to the role of educator. The combination of literary creativity with scientific and pedagogical, educational and methodological activities reveals the versatility of Magzhan Zhumabaev's talent, the encyclopedic nature of his knowledge.

Deeply aware of the role of language in society and considering studying it as one of the main tasks, Magzhan took an active part in developing methods of teaching the Kazakh language. It was especially important to do it just in those harsh times when there were no Kazakh schools, when in the expanses of the Kazakh steppe and not only there was a complete illiteracy. All of you know perfectly well that in schools there was a Russian language of instruction and the Kazakh language was literally extinguished, and this is not the only problem. Another clash in those days is the transition to the Latin alphabet, resulting in people becoming illiterate and forcing them to learn again. Nevertheless, he did his best, after all, he is one of the founders of Kazakh literature. And in those days, when the Kazakh language was dying, Magzhan lit this flame again. In 1922, he developed a theoretical work on pedagogy, which initiated the formation of the national pedagogical science and is the only and unique pedagogical composition consonant with the demands of our days. Zhumabayev, as a teacher-practitioner, participates in the development of teaching methods in the national school. The development of the ideas underlying the "Pedagogy" was "Native speech in an elementary school", published in 1923.

Basic provisions of M. Zhumabaev's pedagogical views:

 - One of the bases of the pedagogical process, he considers his psychological justification.

 - The leading factors determining the goals, objectives, content, principles of upbringing and education are the ideas of ethnopedagogy, ethnopsychology: "As the children of every nation will live and work among their people, the educator is obliged to educate them in the spirit of national traditions."

 - Factors of moral education: family and school, the personality of the educator.

 - The idea of ​​integrating language and literature, defining in this connection the means, forms, principles, stages and sequence of language learning.

Based on this, it can be understood that Magzhan did not confine himself to teaching the subject, he also paid attention to the upbringing of children.

M. Zhumabaev argues that the child is more influence not by words, but by the actions of people close to him, and in connection with this, the welfare of the family and the high moral qualities of the parents are of great importance in the upbringing of children. He attached great importance to the role of the teacher in the teaching and educational process. Zhumabaev developed the basic requirements for the educator: they consist in professionalism, love for children, excellent command of the language and good speech, respect for the child's personality.

Magzhan also participated in the public life of the Kazakh people. He worked in various editorial offices of newspapers, was part of the Alash-Orda, and I'm already silent about the achievements in translation. "Even if we do not take into account his poetic heritage," wrote the national writer of Bashkiria Sayfi Kudash,  he is flawless in ideological and even more artistic terms, made it enough to remember and respect the name Magzhan Zhumabaev ».
