
The contribution of the poet as a teacher:
- took a direct part in the development of teaching methods for the Kazakh language.
- In 1922 in Orenburg he developed the first theoretical work on pedagogy in the Kazakh language - "Pedagogy"
Basic provisions of M. Zhumabaev's pedagogical views:
- One of the bases of the pedagogical process, he considers his psychological justification.
- The leading factors determining the goals, objectives, content, principles of upbringing and education are the ideas of ethnopedagogy, ethnopsychology: "As the children of every nation will live and work among their people, the educator is obliged to educate them in the spirit of national traditions."
- Factors of moral education: family and school, the personality of the educator.
- The idea of integrating language and literature, defining in this connection the means, forms, principles, stages and sequence of language learning.
Work in the editorial offices of newspapers:
After the liberation of Omsk by the Red Army, Zhumabaev edited the Bolshevik newspaper Bostandyk Tui (The Banner of Freedom), then collaborates in the Tashkent newspapers Ak Zhol (The Bright Way) and the magazine Sholpan (The Morning Star).
Translation activities:
In 1923-1927 he translated into Kazakh the works of K. Marx, F. Engels, VI Lenin, the works of M. Gorky, D. Mamin-Sibiryak, A. Blok, and others.
